Mark Stepovich, DDS
Native of California. Born in San Francisco, grew up in San Jose. Attended Le Land High School, undergrad @ S.D.S.U, where he was a member of a National Ranked soccer team. Then proceeded to UOP Dental School in San Francisco. Graduated in 1986 and joined his fathers’ dental practice in San Jose.
Dr. Stepovich is a lifelong learner and stays current with leading edge concepts and treatment options through multiple continuing education organizations: ADA, CDA, SCCDS, SITI Study Club, Spear education, Spear Faculty Club, A.E.S., IAG, F.A.C.E. (Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education)

Leisa met Dr. Mark while she was working at Fox Racing and going to Dental Assisting school at night. She’s now been a Registered Dental Assistant for more than 30 years and loves working with Dr. Mark and treating patients and staff like family.
Jennifer Capps - Practice Manager Challenge – Make Sense - Simplify
“I love challenging the way things have always been done and thinking differently to solve problems. I find that when I do that, I can help people find a simpler way to move forward.”
Jennifer began her dental career in 1993 as a surgical assistant. After 8 years of assisting, she started managing practices. She spent 16 years managing several pediatric practices prior to coming to Dr. Mark’s office. When she’s not at work, she’s at home with her three boys or enjoying the outdoors and travelling. She brings fresh ideas to the practice that help make every individual patient experience unique and memorable.
Le'Shawn Payton - Scheduling Coordinator Trust – Contribute – Make Sense
“I believe that trusted relationships are a treasure and that everyone needs someone they can count on. I’m that person that takes a genuine interest in the people I meet, and I look for ways to help them with whatever they are trying to accomplish. I enjoy assisting our patients with scheduling appointments, answering their questions and making them feel like this is their home away from home!”
Le’Shawn went to school for Dental Assisting but found that her real niche is working in the front office and 22 years later - she’s still here!
Joanie Schill - Registered Dental Hygienist Trust – Contribute – Make Sense

When she’s not at the practice, Joanie and her husband enjoy being “empty nesters” and making trips to visit their boys as often as possible.
Alycia Brasil - Registered Dental Hygienist
Graduated from San Joaquin Valley and Chabot College where she earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She became licensed as a Registered Dental Hygenist in 2012 and attends multiple dental education courses throughout the year. She also holds a Laser certification from the Academy of Laser Dentistry. Aside from dentistry, Aly’s main interest include working with her husband on their farm and vineyard in San Martin.
